Don't Quit

This inspirational poem by William Murray Angus was given to me many years ago by some lovely nuns who stopped by while I was at work.  They had no idea that I was going through a dark and difficult time, but these words gave me hope that there was Someone greater than myself who could put my life back together again.  I had no idea at that time Who that Someone was, but about a year later I found out that it was Jesus holding on to me, even though I didn't know it while I was in the midst of my stormy life.  I hope these inspiring words give hope to you as they did me.  Painting of a wild, restless sea by Anthony Casay; angel icons and cursors.  Beautiful, peaceful, instrumental piano music plays throughout.  Matching screensaver, WinAmp and Hotbar skins available separately.

Eternal Promise

Forgiven

The scene of "Forgiven" is Mt. Calvary.  A despairing man has a mallet in one hand and a large spike in the other. Both symbolize that each of us is responsible for Christ's death on the cross.  Jesus Christ is holding up this broken man; at Christ's feet are broken chains, representing the sin that was overcome at Calvary . There is a trace of blood on Christ's hands, and in the place where blood has fallen, lilies have grown. Painting and description by Thomas Blackshear II. God promises that when we bless His people, Israel, then He will, in turn, bless us (Genesis 12:3).  The time is at hand for us to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and to stand by them.  A very poignant song is included entitled "I Will Bless Those Who Bless My People" plays throughout.

Watch Your Thoughts

This is a very profound poem that I came across one day that someone had posted on the bulletin board at work.  It reads: "Watch your thoughts, for they become words; Watch your words, for they become actions; Watch your actions, for they become habits; Watch your habits, for they become character; Watch your character, for it becomes your destiny."  It is to me, an amplification of the verse from the Bible, "As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he."  It makes absolute sense, and it is also my own personal motto that I try to keep before me.  Consider making it yours, too!  Beautiful, tender music plays throughout; icons by Blue Sky Heart graphics.
